1. About Bakables

Bakables is a subscription-based baking education and inspiration platform. Members receive access to baking content including recipes, guides, techniques, educational material, tips and other digital resources.

Bakables is designed primarily for beginners who want to learn how to bake, and for home bakers who want to improve their skills and become more confident in the kitchen.

Bakables is more than a recipe website. Its purpose is to help members learn, bake and improve.

2. Eligibility

To use Bakables and purchase a membership, you must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Bakables and purchase a membership.

By using Bakables, you confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements.

3. Creating an Account

Certain Bakables features require you to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

You must not allow unauthorised individuals to access or use your account.

If you believe your account has been compromised, please notify us at [email protected] as soon as possible.

4. Bakables Memberships

Bakables operates as a recurring monthly subscription service. The current membership prices are:

€9.99 per month

€29.99 per month

€99.99 per month

All memberships are monthly recurring subscriptions. The specific benefits associated with each membership tier are displayed on the Bakables website at the time of purchase.

5. Subscription Billing

Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless you cancel it before the next renewal date.

You will be charged the applicable price for your selected membership tier on each renewal date.

Subscription prices may change in the future. Where required by law, we will provide you with advance notice of any price changes before they take effect.

6. Payments

Subscription payments are processed through a third-party payment provider. [PAYMENT PROVIDER TO BE CONFIRMED]. Payment details are handled directly by that provider in accordance with their own security and privacy practices.

We do not store your full payment card details on our systems.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your Bakables subscription at any time. Cancellation will prevent future recurring charges, subject to the applicable cancellation process and your statutory rights.

To cancel your subscription, please email us at [email protected] from your registered email address. We will process your cancellation and confirm it by return email.

Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund of any amounts already charged. Please see the Refunds section below.

8. Consumer Cancellation and Cooling-Off Rights

As a consumer based in the UK, you may have statutory cancellation rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.

For digital content and digital services, your right to cancel within the statutory cooling-off period may be affected if you expressly request immediate access to the digital content or service and acknowledge the relevant consequences, where permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit your statutory consumer rights where they apply.

9. Refunds

Bakables subscriptions are non-refundable. When you purchase a subscription, you are charged for the current billing period in full. Cancelling your subscription will stop future charges but will not entitle you to a refund of any amounts already paid for the current or any previous billing period.

This policy applies to all subscription tiers (Entry, Standard, and Premium) and to both monthly and any future annual billing options.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights under applicable law. Where you have a legal right to a refund — for example under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or other applicable consumer protection legislation — those rights are not excluded or limited by this policy.

10. Member Content

Depending on your membership tier, you may receive access to content including: Recipes, Baking Basics, Techniques, Ingredient Guides, Baker's Tips, Equipment Guides, Seasonal Baking, Baking Inspiration, and Monthly Bakables Editions.

Bakables intends to build a growing library of monthly editions over time.

Content may be updated, improved or changed over time. We do not guarantee that specific content will remain permanently available unless this is explicitly confirmed as part of your membership offering.

11. Intellectual Property

Bakables and/or its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the Bakables website, branding, written content, graphics, recipes, educational materials, photographs, videos and other original materials, except where otherwise stated.

As a member, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use member content for your personal, non-commercial use during your active membership, subject to these Terms.

You must not: copy substantial amounts of Bakables content; republish, sell or redistribute Bakables content; share paid member-only content publicly; upload Bakables content to other websites or services; or use Bakables content to create a competing commercial product.

17. Account Suspension or Termination

Bakables may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary, including in cases of serious breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, unauthorised sharing of member content, abuse of the platform, or illegal activity.

If your account is terminated for a breach of these Terms, your access to member content will cease and future billing will stop. Any amounts already charged prior to termination will not automatically be refunded, subject to your statutory rights.

Nothing in this section removes or limits your statutory consumer rights.

18. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits Bakables' liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of your statutory consumer rights, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above, Bakables' total liability to you in connection with your use of the website and membership services shall be limited to the amounts paid by you in the twelve months preceding the relevant claim.

Bakables is not liable for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time you entered into these Terms.

Bakables may update, improve or modify its website, services, features and content from time to time.

Where a significant change may materially affect your membership, we will communicate this to you in advance where required by law or where reasonably practicable.
